| Show jumper, born in Cardiff, S Wales, UK. He won the World Championship on Beethoven in 1970, was three times European champion, on Sunsalve (1961) and Mister Softee (1967, 1969), and was the individual bronze medallist at the 1960 and 1968 Olympics. He returned to the British Olympic team in 1988 after a 20-year absence. |
