| Actress, born in St-Tropez, SW France. Daughter of the popular singer and composer, Guy Béart, she began her film career in Jean Pourtalé's film Demain les momes (1976), and in the 1980s secured national and international recognition in Manon des Sources (1986, director Claude Berri). Later films include La Belle Noiseuse (1991, director J Rivette), J'embrasse pas (1991, director A Téchiné), Un coeur en hiver (1992, director C Sautet), and Nelly et M. Arnaud (1995, director C Sautet) which was a multiple César winner. She was previously married to actor Daniel Auteuil. |
