| Film actress, born in Memphis, Tennessee, USA. She was a successful model before her critically acclaimed film debut in The Last Picture Show (1971), following this with The Heartbreak Kid (1973) and Taxi Driver (1976). She also starred with Bruce Willis in the long-running television series Moonlighting (1985–9). Later films include Once Upon a Crime (1992) and Married To It (1993), and the television sitcom Cybill (1995–98). |
