After many small film parts early in his career, he proved he could play light comedy roles as in Some Like It Hot (1959) while also displaying his dramatic ability in The Boston Strangler (1968). His many films include The Vikings (1958), Spartacus (1960), The Great Imposter (1961), The Mirror Crack'd (1980), and The Continued Adventures of Reptile Man (1996). He is the father of actress Jamie Lee Curtis (1958– ). |
