| Poet, born in Tamara, Emilia-Romagna, NE Italy. A contributor to the literary reviews La Voce and Lacerba, he wrote at first in a style reminiscent of d'Annunzio (Le fiale, 1903), then crepuscolarismo in Fuochi d'artifizio (1905). Poesie elettriche (1911) and Inaugurazione della primavera (1915) reflect his futuristic phase, while his last works Aladino (1946), Stradario della primavera (1958), and La ronda di notte (1966) are infused with surrealistic and sensual tones. |
