| Film-maker, born in Paris, France. He became a hugely popular and successful producer of comic films such as La Zizanie (1978) with Louis de Funès, and L'Animal (1977) starring J-P Belmondo. Les Ripoux (1984) brought him the César for best film in 1985 and best director. His other works include Deux (1989), La Totale (1991), and Profil bas (1993). |
