| biography:
| Tennis player, born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA. She won her first Wimbledon title in 1974 at age 19, and later won in 1976 and 1981. She also won the US singles title in 1975–80 and 1982, the French Open in 1974–5, 1979–80, and 1984, and the Australian Open in 1982 and 1984. She married British tennis player John Lloyd (marriage dissolved, 1987), and in 1988 US skier Andy Mill. She retired from professional tennis in 1989 and was elected to the International Tennis Hall of Fame in 1995. |
