| Film actress, born in Sturmer, Essex, SE England, UK. She made her debut in The Knack, and How to Get It (1965), and became known following her supporting role in Georgy Girl (1966). Later films include Stardust Memories (1980), Angel Heart (1987), Time is Money (1994), Invasion of Privacy (1996), and The Wings of the Dove (1997). In 1999 she played Miss Havisham in BBC television's production of Great Expectations. |
