| biography:
| Son of Prince François of Bourbon Parma and Countess Marie of Bourbon-Busset, born in Paris. He married Princess Irene of The Netherlands in 1964. He was the leader of the Carlist party in Spain, but abandoned his pretensions to the throne after the restoration of the monarchy, as did Princess Irene on marrying a Catholic. They have four children. The marriage was dissolved in 1981. |
