| Writer, born in Trieste, Friuli-Venezia Giulia, NE Italy. He moved to Florence to continue his studies in 1913 and was a contributor to the review La Voce. A strong supporter of irredentism, he enlisted as a volunteer at the start of World War 1 and, rather than fall into Austrian hands, committed suicide. His essays, poems, and letters were published under the title Cose e ombre di uno (1919), edited by his brother Giani. |
