| Marquis of Tuscany. The son of Duke Tebaldo di Canossa, he was made Marquis of Tuscany by Conrad II in 1027. He supported the empire but rebelled against Henry III. From his marriage to Beatrice di Lorena was born Matilde di Canossa. He was murdered by order of his lords. |
