| Painter, born in Louisville, Kentucky, USA. He studied at the Boston Museum School (1955) and the University of Louisville (1955–8). A Surrealist artist, he travelled extensively and lived in many places, including New York and Paris. He died of a lung haemorrhage when only 29 years old. |
