| Film actor, born in Long Beach, New York, USA. A successful stand-up comic, he played television's first openly gay character in the comedy series Soap, before becoming established as a feature film actor in films such as Throw Momma From The Train (1987), and When Harry Met Sally (1989). Later films include City Slickers and its sequel (1991, 1994), Forget Paris (1995), which he also directed, Fathers' Day (1997), Analyze This (1999), and America's Sweethearts (2001). |
