He wrote in the local Grado dialect, and central to his poetry is the local environment with its lagoon and fishermen, even when it is couched in symbolic language. His work, characterized by musically-rhymed, short-lined poetic gems, included Fiuri de tapo (1912), Cansone picole (1957), E anche el vento tase (1982), and La vose de la sera (1985). |
