| French actor, born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Following his first film Trois, six, neuf (1937, director Raymond Rouleau), he was in constant demand by film directors both in France and Italy because of his versatility and enjoyment of picturesque roles. He appeared in films made by his son, Bertrand Blier, such as Calmos (1976) and Buffet froid (1979). His last two films in a career of 60 films were Les Possédés (1988, director A Wajda) and Migrations (1989, director A Petrovic). |
