| Journalist, born in Boston, Massachusetts, USA. A conspirator in the Boston Tea Party, he co-founded, with John Gill, the pro-Patriot Boston Gazette and Country Journal (the third paper so named) in 1775. It declined after the American Revolution and folded in 1789. He spent his last years in poverty. |
