| Painter, born in Rothiemurchus, Highland, N Scotland, UK. He studied at the Westminster and Slade Schools, in Italy, and in Paris, and was associated with Fry's Omega Workshops, and then with the London Group. His works were mainly landscapes, portraits, and still-life, and he also designed textiles, pottery, and stage scenery. |
