| Sculptor, born in Prestatyn, Denbighshire, NE Wales, UK. He studied at Birmingham College of Arts and Crafts (1957–8), and taught art in London (1967–71). His early sculptures were made of cloth or hessian filled with shavings or foam. Since 1973 he has returned to more traditional materials such as stone and bronze, as in his bronze Leaping Hare sculptures (1990, Osaka). |
