| biography:
| Composer and conductor, born in Sydney, New South Wales, SE Australia. A guitarist in a blues band, he came to England and studied at the Royal College of Music in London and Surrey University (1977). He became principal conductor to the London Contemporary Dance Theatre (1979–90) and has also composed for ballet, dance, and theatre. His work for television includes Boon (1985), Inspector Morse (1986), and Dalziel and Pascoe (1995), and among his film scores are Truly, Madly, Deeply (1990) and Hilary and Jackie (1998). He now lives in England. |
