| Architect, born in Pune (formerly Poona), W India. He studied in Pune and Mumbai, and worked as senior designer with Le Corbusier at Chandigarh and Ahmedabad (1951–7). His architectural works include the City Hall, Toronto (1958), the Indian Institute of Management (1962–74, with Kahn), in Ahmedabad, and Vidyadhar Nagar New Town, Jaipur. |
