| Architect, probably born in Siena, C Italy. In 1503 he went to Rome, where he designed the Villa Farnesina and the Ossoli Palace, and painted frescoes in the Church of S Maria della Pace (1516). After a short period as city architect in Siena, he returned to Rome in 1535 and designed the Palazzo Massimo. |
