Secretary of State to Felipe II, his Norte de príncipes (1588) was addressed to the Duke of Lerma, privado of Felipe, Vn pedaço de Historia de lo suçedido en Çaragoça de Aragón, a 24 de Setiembre del Año de 1591 (1591). Las relaciones (1598) is an extended apologia for his conduct in politics. His absorbing letters, mannered in style, were first published in Paris (1598). |
