| biography:
| Singer, born in the Paris region. She began singing and in 1962 formed the Guitar Brothers, performing a repertoire of Presley and Petula Clark. Launched by Claude Carrère as ‘Jolie petite Sheila’ - hence her stage name - she became a star within six months with ‘L'Ecole est finie’ , but poor health reduced her appearances on stage. She married Ringo Willy Cat in 1973 and had a son, Ludovic (b.1975). Her fan-club has up to 45 000 members in France, and also members in Great Britain and the USA. |
