| Queen consort of England, the first wife of Richard II. The daughter of Emperor Charles IV (reigned 1355–78). She married Richard in 1382 and died childless. It is probably through her entourage that the writings of John Wycliffe were introduced into Bohemia and gained prominence through the work of John Huss. |
