| Religious poet and love poet writing in Catalan, born possibly in Valencia, who is recorded as a notary 1512–66. His Procés o disputa de viudes y donzelles was included in Jaume Roig's Spill (1561), but he is best known as a religious poet for his work on the Immaculate Virgin and the Passion of Christ. Fragments of his Consells a un casat appear in Ocho siglos de poesía catalana (Barcelona, 1969), compiled by J M Castellet and J Molas. |
