| Florentine painter. His most famous work is the monumental fresco cycle in the Spanish Chapel of the Dominican Church of S Maria Novella in Florence, painted c.1366–8. His only other documented work is the ‘Life of S Ranieri’, frescoes in the Campo Santo in Pisa, completed in 1377. |
