| Writer, born in Vienna, Austria. The son of a Jewish family, he originally intended to study Catholic theology. He wrote songs which were first published in 1968 and since then has attracted attention as a performing artist, including circus acts and firework displays over Berlin and Lisbon. He has written poetry and the novel Schattentaucher (1987), which contains autobiographical elements and dream sequences, and is critical of Viennese culture. |
