| Painter and engraver, born in Boussy-Saint-Antoine, NC France. Influenced by Courbet and Corot, he produced watercolour landscapes of the Ile de France and Provence, as well as etchings and illustrations. His work was traditional and conservative in nature and includes a collection of engravings entitled Beaches (1935). |
