| Psychiatrist and neuropathologist, born in Marktbreit, SC Germany. He studied medicine in Würzburg and Berlin universities, and in 1912 became professor of psychiatry and neurology at Breslau University (now Wrocław, Poland). He is remembered for his full clinical and pathological description, in 1906, of pre-senile dementia (Alzheimer's disease). |
