| Poet and dramatist, born in Paris, France. He is famous only for some lines from his first collection Mes Heures perdues (1833): ‘Mon âme a son secret, ma vie a son mystere’, which he dedicated to Marie, daughter of Charles Nodier, whose salon he frequented at the Arsenal. He owed his fame to his theatre work, Patronesses (1837). |
