| biography:
| Costume designer, born in Thessaloníki (Salonika), Greece. She studied at the American School in Athens, and then came to work at the Goodman Memorial Theatre in Chicago (1949) where she met her husband, the actor Tom Aldredge. After her first costume designs there in 1950, she designed for many productions, mostly for the New York and London stage, but also for films and operas. |
