| biography:
| Metalworker, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA. He first studied jewellery-making at Temple University's Tyler School of Art and became a master goldsmith, but then turned to large-scale metalworking in the late 1960s. Singlehandedly he revived blacksmithing as an art form with the ornamental gates, figurative sculptures, metal furniture, grilles, railings, and other architectural elements made on commission in his Rochester, NY workshop. |
