| biography:
| Sculptor, born in Spain. He seems to have studied in Italy and later, together with his father, created the main altarpiece of Martorell (1614). He established himself as one of the most important figures at the commencement of Barroque art in Catalunya, but many of his religious works of art were later destroyed in 1936 during the Spanish Civil War. |
