| Writer and journalist, born in Rome, Latium, Italy. He wrote a number of plays (Centocinquanta la gallina canta, 1924) and novels whose humour rests on illogical events and paradox (Agosto, moglie mia non ti conosco, 1930; Il povero Piero, 1959). At its best, his work seems to anticipate the Theatre of the Absurd. |
